China Bistro: Authentic Cantonese Cuisine in Rosemead, CA

Great place to have lunch and dinner with friends and family. Came here for lunch with friends. Everything we ordered were so good. All the dishes were perfectly cooked, very well balanced of flavors. I really like their fired tofu and braised tofu. Fast service, friendly staffs.

Great food. Excellent service. Above avg atmosphere. A true dining place not really suitable for bringing folks to impress. Again, eat there for the food, not atmosphere. Repeatedly visited several times in the past months.

This restaurant has some outdoor seating, mainly for smokers or when indoor seating is totally packed. The food is tasty and tends to be seasoned a bit too salty for our group. The restaurant does get busy especially on the weekends. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time. The parking lot is also quite confusing as drivers tend to drive the wrong way while trying to find parking spots or trying to get to the other side of the parking lot. Service can be a bit slow when it is packed.

Came here around 7pm on a Saturday for dinner with some friends. They were busy when we came in but luckily we didn't have to wait for a table. They many tables instead as well as outside patio seating. We were seated at a booth but it was right under the air conditoner vent so it was cold while we ate. They have restrooms here and it was actually pretty clean. Their menu has English and Chinese which is convenient. We ordered the Sweet Sour Pork (15.95), Scallop Mushroom Crispy Tofu (17.50), and the Walnut Shrimp (21.95). We also got the egg waffle (6.95) for to-go. The servers here speak Mandarin and Cantonese but I think you can easily get away ordering by pointing at the menu or using English. The server was pretty nice and came to take our order fast. We got hot water and ordered rice (4.50 per bowl), but the rice portion is pretty big since they didn't serve them in a bowl but the big red rice container. The dishes were served pretty fast which was good since we were starving. The walnut shrimp was nicely fried and had good amount of mayonnaise that didn't feel greasy. The crispy tofu was my favorite though since it is the soft tofu with perfectly fried crispy skin. The sweet and sour pork was just okay though, but it was nice that it didn't have bones. The portion for all three were reasonable for the price and the economy. The service is also great because they actually help pack your leftovers for you. Overall, this a great choice for Cantonese homestyle food to eat with family or friends. I will visit again. Would recommend!

A cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food was served promptly and was delicious. Entrées averaged around $17 each. Recommend this place for a very good meal!

Went there for dinner with my Aunt Family last night. We ate too much. The food was great a day have great service. Love the shrimp, the fish and the beef dish. It was perfect for dinner. Here are the dishes we ordered for dinner. Definitely recommend for dinner if you are visiting from out of town.

China Bistro is a quick casual stop for good Chinese food that’ll leave you satisfied for the price. Family friendly and great service with a chill vibe definitely coming back.

One of my best Chinese restaurant. Foods quality is so good. Lunch special menu has many selection and price is so good. Atmosphere is fair and typical Chinese restaurant feel. They have outdoor smoking dinning area which I don't like it and when you sit inside, try to avoid sit close to the outdoor patio door area. You will breath all the 2nd hand smoke coming from outside. But overall food quality, it is my first choice for Chinese food.
